Each one is individually made by hand-beading continuous lines of glass beads over stretched cotton in a specialist technique known as Tambour beading, a skill synonymous with haute couture embellishment.
The women who create The Jacksons beaded pieces are paid directly for the work that they do. We’re proud to be working in a project to increase financial independence for women in 60 villages across Southwest Bangladesh.
